COMMUNITY MOBILISERS ON THE PROMOTION OF COVID 19 VACCINES BY CARITAS NIGERIA

In the month of January 2022, a lot of institutions and organizations were still trying to develop different strategies on how to resume work activities as a result of the COVID 19 global lockdown.

One of the measures that had been put in place to the curtail wide spread of the virus was the introduction of vaccines. JDPC KADUNA in collaboration with her partners and other stakeholders met to discuss how to promote and create awareness about the COVID 19 Vaccines.

According to WHO, more than two years since the first SARS-CoV-2 infections were reported, the COVID-19 pandemic remains an acute global emergency. In this Strategic Preparedness, Readiness and Response plan for 2022, WHO sets out a number of key strategic adjustments that, if implemented rapidly and consistently at national, regional, and global levels, will enable the world to end the acute phase of the pandemic.

The plan for 2022 builds on the strategic and operational planning documents published in 2020 and 2021, and should be read in conjunction with relevant WHO guidance.
